Confidence reigns between you and your 207 CC: because your car ticks all the boxes to win your confidence with its levels of active and passive safety systems and its driving assistance equipment.
Shocks absoption
Your 207 CC protects you in many ways: its structure absorbs the majority of energy relating to impacts. In the event of frontal impact, the retractable steering column limits the backwards movement of the steering wheel and the risks of engine and gearbox intrusion into the passenger compartment. In the event of a side impact, you are protected by a cell equipped with solid side reinforcements.
Rear safety arches with automatic deployment
All versions of the 207 CC are fitted with active safety arches in the rear which contribute towards occupant protection in the event of the car overturning, in cabriolet or coupé mode.
Airbags
The 207 CC is equipped with:
- driver and passenger front airbags whose pressure adapts to the severity of the impact,
- a "knee protection airbag" located under the steering column to protect the driver's knees,
- and head-chest level airbags installed in the seats to protect the passengers' heads and also the thorax and abdomen of the driver and front passenger.
ABS, ESP, CDS
To preserve your safety even in delicate situations, the 207 CC is fitted with a complete brake system including ABS, electronic brake distribution (REF) and emergency brake assistance (AFU) as standard. As for the electric variable power-assisted steering, this is as precise on the open road as it is when performing manoeuvres in town.
